If you’ve ever wondered, What do my Speed the Light and BGMC dollars do? Watch this.
What would happen if we invested a few hours to dream? What if we came together for a moment as leaders simply to delve into God’s heart for the harvest field? On September 19 & 20, 2011, we have that opportunity. Rev. Jay Mooney, the National Youth Director for the Assemblies of God, will be with us. He is traveling to Iowa to expose us to what is happening globally as well as summon our involvement. Our missionaries are intentional and strategic in their sphere of influence. It is our turn to come alongside them. You will be inspired, challenged, motivated, and gifted with opportunities. There is no cost to attend. Lead pastors, student pastors and spouses are invited to share a meal, have some fun with door prizes, dream with one of our great leaders ,and develop missional synergy.
Please save the date and plan to attend:
September 19 at 9:30-11:00 AM – Des Moines New Hope (brunch provided)
September 19 at 1:00-2:30 PM – Iowa City (lunch provided)
September 20 at 12:00-1:30 PM – Sioux City Morningside (lunch provided)
Please RSVP to email@example.com before September 12th. You will not want to miss this event!
(Please note the RSVP date has been extended to ensure everyone who would like to attend is able to attend.)
18 holes of golf :: 2 snowmobiles :: Generations of changed lives
While having a great time playing in the 2011 Speed the Light Golf Invitational, you will be investing in a cause that makes both a practical and eternal impact.
Speed the Light (STL) is a missions organization that provides the necessary tools (vehicles, audio/visual equipment and more) to men and women who have dedicated their lives to telling others about Jesus. This work makes positive changes in the journey of generations to come.
Money raised at this year’s Invitational will help purchase two snowmobiles that will play a vital role in crisscrossing the 11 time zones of Russia with a message of power, strength, hope and forgiveness. In some of the most frozen and unforgiving parts of the world, teams trained by Rick & Dianna Lang, Assemblies of God World Missionaries and Area Directors for Russia/Belarus, will reach 129,000 cities and villages.
Choose your foursome and register today for the 2011 Speed the Light Golf Invitational. The prizes are top-shelf, the food will be great, and you will be supporting a tremendous cause.
